121 Lawyers Across The Nation Share Their Best Tips To Grow Your Practice
By: Christopher J. Berry, JD, VA Accredited, Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA)
In the fall semester of 2013 I taught an elder law class at Thomas Cooley Law School. As part of the class I wanted to share with my students not only my experience growing a practice from zero clients, zero cash, and zero network to a successful practice running on autopilot, but I also wanted to incorporate knowledge from other attorneys. I asked for feedback from a survey I created across different listservs and associations of lawyers. I received responses from 121 attorneys offering over 400 different suggestions on their best marketing tips, their biggest mistakes, and the keys to their success. For my WealthCounsel colleagues, I wanted to share some of the best tips from the report.
