Acting as Trustee is an immense responsibility and with it comes personal risk. In this presentation, we will discuss the ways a Trustee can reduce their personal risk by understanding the various duties, and most importantly, how to accurately document how a Trustee have fulfilled each of their duties. Specifically, we’ll discuss the duties to: have a plan; balance risk and return; diversify; pay only reasonable fees; and prudently delegate.

- Review fiduciary duties of care
- Identify a process for the development and maintenance of a fiduciary library
- Identify “best practices” for fiduciary governance procedures
